Couples Relationship Coaching - Joint Intake

$185.00

Couples Relationship Coaching is for partners who want to better understand their relationship patterns, improve communication, and build a stronger sense of emotional safety together.

This work is not about assigning blame or deciding who’s “right.” It’s about slowing things down, understanding how each partner experiences the relationship, and learning how to navigate differences with more clarity, respect, and intention.

To support this process, couples coaching begins with a structured intake phase. We start with a joint intake session so I can understand what’s bringing you in, what you’re hoping for, and how your relationship currently functions. This is followed by two individual intake sessions—one with each partner—so I can learn more about your individual perspectives, histories, and experiences within the relationship.

After the intake phase, we come back together for ongoing couples sessions. This approach allows the work to be more balanced, thoughtful, and informed—supporting deeper understanding and more productive conversations once we’re meeting together as a couple.

Sessions focus on communication patterns, emotional awareness, boundaries, and shared goals, with an emphasis on helping each partner feel heard while strengthening the relationship as a whole.

Couples coaching is coaching-informed and educational in nature and is not psychotherapy or a substitute for mental health treatment.

This may be a good fit if you:

  • Feel stuck in recurring arguments or communication breakdowns

  • Want to understand each other better without escalating conflict

  • Are navigating transitions, stressors, or changes in your relationship

  • Want support that balances both partners’ perspectives

  • Are motivated to grow individually and together

  • Want practical tools alongside reflective conversation

This booking is for an initial 90 minute joint intake session, which is a longer session designed to give us the time and space to slow down and really understand what’s going on for you.

During this session, we’ll explore what’s bringing you to coaching, what you want to work on, and what feels most important right now. We’ll also talk through your goals and how we can work together to support them in a way that feels realistic and aligned.

Continuing coaching sessions begin at $125 for a 50 minute session. For couples sessions, 90 minutes is the recommended session length as it allows more time for processing. Session frequency and fees are discussed collaboratively before the end of our intake to ensure they align with your goals and capacity and to ensure you are leaving our session with clarity.
